Last Friday, September 27th, 2024, the Royal Academy of Sciences hosted an emotional event: the 7th edition of the Dádoris Foundation award ceremony. This non-profit organisation supports talented young people who lack the financial means to pursue higher education. The event brought together awardees, collaborators such as LedaMC, and volunteers under the theme ‘the importance of dreaming to make it a reality.’ The ceremony recognised the achievements of the 2024-25 students and celebrated the graduations of the previous year’s scholarship recipients
The transformative power of education
The Dádoris Foundation reaffirmed its commitment to building a fairer, more developed, and sustainable society through access to higher education. During the event, several award-winning students shared their personal stories, highlighting how, despite financial challenges, they have been able to dream of a bright future thanks to the foundation’s support. A clear example is Achraf El Idrissi, currently in his third year of Computer Engineering at the University of Alcalá de Henares.
Achraf’s story exemplifies resilience, where his mother’s unwavering support, the Dádoris Foundation’s backing, and his own efforts have been key to turning his dreams into reality.

LedaMC, represented at the event by Johanna Reyes, Head of Talent and Culture, and Alexandra Blanco from the Marketing and Sales team, had the honour of presenting the award to Achraf. This gesture symbolises the partnership between LedaMC and the Dádoris Foundation, established in 2018. Beyond scholarships, this collaboration includes offering internships to students interested in the tech sector.
