A bit of history…
Rafael de la Fuente founded LEDAmc in 2003 as a consulting company designed to help its client in outsourcing processes. Open Bank (then Patagon), Bankinter and Telefónica Data were its clients the very first year, followed by Hispamer (now Santander Consumer Finance) and Caja Madrid (now Bankia).
In 2006 LEDAmc runs its first project related to the Development Productivity Management, which means establishing the foundations of current LEDAmc’s Productivity Management methodology. This activity consolidates when significant clients such as Telefónica, Vodafone and Mapfre became LEDAmc’s clients.
Implementing Optimized Test Models began in 2007 by the hand of BBVA and Iberia. LEDA’s novelty approach, which enables to predict development projects testware and control the process quantitatively, attracts Adif, Endesa and Verti, among others.
In 2012 at the British Conference of Software Metrics LEDAmc presents an ambitious Productivity Benchmarking which points out the inconsistencies of managing the development activities based on effort, rather than focusing on the productivity. That year LEDAmc’s solutions were unified to form one concept: product based IT Management which connects development, productivity, testing and quality.
2013 is an important year for LEDAmc. Opening an office in Bogotá is the beginning of the international growth, new methodologies and Project Estimation tools are presented on the markets. We strengthen a framework of software development solutions with an industrial focus, based on the product and on the production process.
Along 2014 and 2015, LEDAmc have substantially increased their business figures: 25% in 2014 and 36% in 2015, attaining 100 consultants and consolidating a leadership position in the Spanish market.
